Privacy policy

Effective 20 October 2026

The short version: Stillwake collects no data. The camera check runs on your iPhone, and no video, image or body-position data is ever saved or sent. There are no accounts, no analytics and no ads.

Who we are

Stillwake is an iPhone app made by Chanikul Dechpholkrang, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). If you have a question about privacy, email support@stillwake.app.

The camera

What's stored on your iPhone

To run your alarms and show your progress, the app keeps a small amount of information on your iPhone only: your alarm times and settings, and a record of each morning (for example the time a sit started, how long it lasted and how many pauses it had). This never leaves your device to reach us. Like other app data, it may be included in your own iCloud or computer backups, which are controlled by Apple and you. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

What we collect

Nothing. We don't run servers that receive app data, and we don't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Stillwake's App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

Subscriptions and payments

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details, name or Apple ID. Apple's own privacy policy applies to purchases. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings > your name > Subscriptions.

If you email us

If you contact support, we use your email address and message only to reply to you. We keep support emails for as long as needed to help you, and delete them on request.

Children

Stillwake isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because we don't collect personal data through the app, there is normally nothing for us to access, correct or delete. For support emails you have the rights given by UK data protection law, including access and deletion. Write to support@stillwake.app. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above. If a change ever meant collecting data, we'd say so clearly in the app first.
